Job Description

An Arabic-speaking clinical psychologist holds various roles at Synthese . These roles include conducting intakes, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, and developing and implementing treatment plans. As a psychologist, you are the primary clinician for a patient, but you are supervised in this role by a coordinating clinician (psychiatrist, psychotherapist, mental health psychologist, or clinical psychologist). In addition, you are supported by the administrative office and the other psychologists.

Hindi/Urdu-speaking Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

A Hindi/Urdu-speaking entry-level psychologist holds various roles at Synthese . These roles include conducting intakes, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings (MDOs), and developing and implementing treatment plans. As a psychologist, you are the primary care provider for a patient, but you are supervised in this role by a coordinating practitioner (psychiatrist, psychotherapist, mental health psychologist, or clinical psychologist). In addition, you are supported by the administrative office and the other psychologists.

Clinical Psychologist / Job Coach

Job Description

A clinical psychologist at Synthese has various roles: You serve as the lead therapist. You provide individual treatment for complex issues. You conduct diagnostic assessments as needed. You provide on-the-job coaching/supervision to entry-level psychologists and/or entry-level psychologists in training to become mental health psychologists. You participate in multidisciplinary consultations. You collaborate with us on improving the quality of care. In addition, you are supported by the administrative office and the other psychologists.

Job Requirements

Proficiency in spoken and written Dutch;
Good social skills and a strong sense of empathy;
A completed degree in clinical psychology and BIG-registered;
An affinity for intercultural mental health care;
Able to work in a multidisciplinary setting and guide the treatment process.

Member of the Client Council

Job Description

You are a current or former client of Synthese. You have some spare time to get actively involved with the organization. If you want your voice to be heard and are eager to advocate for other clients at Synthese, you can join the Client Council. The Client Council advises Synthese what matters most to clients.
